Accounts
Track all of your accounts here—cash, checking, credit cards, and savings.
Balances update automatically based on your logged transactions.
How to Use
-
Add or edit accounts as needed.
-
Set the Initial Balance inside the account page when first created.
(This field is hidden in the table view and must be entered inside the page.)
-
Do not change the Initial Balance later—it only reflects the starting point.
-
Linked ledger entries will update inflow, outflow, and current balance automatically.
Status
- Active — Regular accounts included in dashboards and totals.
- Excluded — Accounts tracked for reference, skipped in overviews.
- Inactive — Accounts no longer in use, stored for historical record.
This system keeps your analysis clean and ensures only relevant accounts appear in dashboards and summaries.
Views Guide
- Account Setup — Overview of all accounts with status, type, and real-time balance.
- Financial Summary — Monthly and Yearly overview of each account’s flow and growth.
- Goal Tracker — Monitor progress toward specific account goals.
Ledger
This is the core of your financial system.
Track all your income, expenses, and transfers in one place to maintain clarity and accuracy in your finances.
How to Use
- Add each transaction using the New Flow button in the sidebar
- Enter the correct date and amount
(no need for negative sign, the system handles this automatically)
- Select a category (e.g., Food, Shopping, Salary) — the type (Income / Expense) fills automatically
- Assign each entry to the appropriate account (e.g., bank, wallet, card)
Transfers
To ensure both sides of the transfer are created correctly:
- Use the New Transfer button in the sidebar
(This ensures both outflow and inflow are created properly)
- Fill out all required fields, then set Status = Ready
(Only when the status is set to Ready will the full transfer be generated)
- If you forget to complete or marked as Ready:
- It will appear in the Transfer Drafts → Archived tab in the sidebar
- You can either go back and edit it, or create a new one using the button
Categories
This page helps you manage all your categories — across income and expenses — and assign monthly budgets with clarity.
It works together with your ledger, budget, and dashboard to keep everything in sync.
How to Use
- Create and edit categories from this page
- Assign each category a Type: Income or Expense
- The current month’s totals (earned / spent) update automatically from your transaction logs
- You can optionally set a budget for each expense category — tracked in the Budget Planner section
- Transfer categories are system defaults and cannot be changed
Views Guide
- Category List — A grouped overview of your income and expense categories
- Budget Planner
Schedules
There are two databases manage your recurring transactions:
- Flow Schedule → for recurring Income or Expense
(e.g., Salary, Rent)
- Transfer Schedule → for recurring Transfers
(e.g., Monthly Savings, internal moves between accounts)
These let you update your ledger with just one click — and keep your finances accurate, month after month.
How to Use
- Add a new schedule as you would in the Ledger:
Fill in Name, Category, Type, Amount, Account, and Planned Date and select a cycle
- When the date arrives, click Update to:
- Move entries to Inactive to keep your view focused
Views Guide
- By Type → Grouped by Expense, Income, or Transfer
- By Cycle → Organized by recurrence (Monthly, Yearly, etc.)
